The Christmas church with a warm Nikolsky chapel was built between 1861 and 1865. Its appearance is unusual and resembles a mansion mausoleum more than a rural church. The structure is a small two-light cube, traditionally topped with pediments on the northern and southern sides, smoothly transitioning into a rotunda of equal width. The upper part of the rotunda is adorned with a belt of oval windows and topped with a gently sloping dome with a small onion-shaped cupola.
