The church in Likino, also known as the village of Lekino or Bogorodskoye, was first built in 1696 by Afanasy Khonenyev, who served as a steward and overseer of the tsar's table. The temple was erected in honor of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God. Between 1784 and 1787, the descendants of Khonenyev replaced the wooden church with a stone one, which has survived to this day. The church has two altars: the main one is dedicated to the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God, and in the warm refectory, to Archangel Michael. Among the church relics were the altar Gospel from 1688 and a Lenten triode, gifted by Afanasy Khonenyev in 1692. In the 19th century, the parish included the village of Likino and the villages of Nepeytsina, Bolshaya Kozlovka, Malaya Kozlovka, Kolesnya, Lebedeva, Pesochna, and Klenok, where 685 men and 802 women lived.

Since 1887, a church parish school operated in Likino with 42 students. During the closure of churches, icons of the Transfiguration of the Lord and "The Saints" from the Transfiguration Church of the Spas-Sarnikov parish were transferred here. In the village, Semen Ushakov was repressed.

During the Great Patriotic War, bells began to be dropped in Likino, claiming it was necessary for the front. Among them was a large bell, which, according to eyewitnesses, was a gift from Catherine II. People involved in the dropping of the bells soon began to lose their hearing, and it was said among the people that this was God's punishment.

In Soviet times, the parish was deprived of the church parish school building, which was converted into a club, as well as the priest's house. The church reopened in 1944. Now, services are held in its chapels, and a children's Sunday school operates at the church, attended by 10 children.
