In the village of Lavrentyevsk stands the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built of stone in 1838 by the efforts of the parishioners. It is warm, with a stone bell tower. The church is surrounded by a stone fence with an iron grille, and inside the fence is a cemetery. The church has three altars: in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and John Chrysostom, as well as Saint Sergius of Radonezh. The church has a steady income, including interest from a capital of 500 rubles. The parish has four chapels: one stone and three wooden, however, candles, oil, and incense are not sold in them.
