Before the construction of the current stone one-story church with three altars in the village of Krasnopolye, there was a wooden church. It also had three altars: the main one in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and in the side chapels, in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The wooden church was founded with the blessing of Metropolitan Paul, the archbishop of Tobolsk and Siberia.

According to the description of the Krasnopolye Nativity-Blessed Virgin Mary Church from 1824, the old wooden church was single-altar and dedicated to the Prophet Elijah. It was dismantled by the order of Bishop Varlaam due to its dilapidation. A new wooden church was built in its place, but it burned down on the day of its consecration. After that, with the blessing of Bishop Justin, the old wooden church was repaired in 1807.

The current stone church was laid in 1820 by the order of Bishop Justin. It has three altars: the main one in honor of the Prophet Elijah, consecrated in 1807, the second in honor of Saint Nicholas, consecrated in 1839, and the third in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, consecrated in 1847.

The church staff originally included three priests, two deacons, three clerks, and three sacristans. However, in 1834, one staff was transferred to the Petro-Kamen factory. Now, two priests and two psalmists serve in the Krasnopolye church. No land has been allocated for the clergy; instead, a stipend is provided, but it is rarely received due to the poverty of the population. One staff uses church houses, while the other receives money for housing. The church house for the priest is dilapidated and inconvenient for living.

The Krasnopolye parish includes nine villages, including Reshi, Sirbishnaya, and others. There are two Orthodox chapels here, and a wooden church is being built in the village of Brodovaya, for which 500 rubles were allocated in 1885. Additionally, two prayer houses for dissenters are permitted in the parish.

The parish has two volosts: in the village of Krasnopolye and the village of Brodovaya. The village has a zemstvo school with 80-90 students and a pharmacy with a feldsher. The parish population consists of 2,629 men and 2,856 women, as well as 9,801 men and 1,058 dissenting women. In 1885, there were 37 marriages, 157 baptisms of boys, and 131 of girls. The conversion from dissent to Orthodoxy occurs rarely. Last year, 173 men and 163 women died. 702 people attended confession and communion, while 3,766 did not participate. There are no church-parish schools or stone houses in the parish, but there are two shops.
