Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Klyuchi (Lost)

Фото 1
The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary church in the village of Klyuchi was wooden, with a bell tower standing on a stone foundation. It was built in 1859 through the efforts of the parishioners. The fence around the church was also wooden, but with stone pillars, and the cemetery was located inside the fence. The church had two altars: one in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the other for the holy apostles Peter and Paul.

According to the publication by Archpriest Belyaev "Statistical Description of Cathedrals and Churches of the Kostroma Diocese", the church was wooden, without a bell tower, on a stone foundation, and was moved to its current location from the Vysokovsky Assumption Monastery in 1858.

The church burned down in the mid-1990s.
