According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village church was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site. This site dates back to the early 20th century. However, according to the information from the State Heritage Protection Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, order 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.

During the expedition of the "Places of Memory-2013" project, it was found that the stone church, dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and built in 1876, was used as a school during the Soviet era. Currently, the school is closed and in a state of neglect. Next to the church is a wooden bell tower of an older church of the Prophet Elijah, built in 1775.
