Yeropkino, a village located in the Sergach district. In accordance with the order of the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage Protection of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. This object dates back to the 19th century. However, according to the data from the State Heritage Protection Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region, order No. 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159. Local residents claim that the church preserved to this day was built after 1904 and is dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
