In 1791, Alexander Ilyich Pashkov built a stone church dedicated to the holy righteous prince Alexander Nevsky. The church has three altars: the main one is dedicated to the Nativity of Christ, the right chapel has an altar in the name of the holy prophet Elijah, and the left chapel is in the name of the holy righteous prince Alexander Nevsky. There is a legend that the church's design was created by architect Vasily Bazhenov.
