The church was built in 1786 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. The building is made of stone, with a bell tower and fence of the same material, and around the church, there is a wooden painted lattice, which gives it strength.

The church has three altars: the main, cold one, consecrated in honor of the Nativity of Christ, and in the warm chapels on the southern side, the Protection of the Holy Virgin, and on the northern side, the Annunciation of the Holy Virgin.

The clergy originally consisted of three priests, two deacons, six clerks, and sacristans. Currently, there are two priests, one deacon, a clerk, and a sacristan serving in the church.

The church has land: 3 dessiatines 229 square fathoms of homestead, 76 dessiatines 1800 fathoms of arable land, 8 dessiatines 600 fathoms of hayfield, and 9 dessiatines 682 fathoms of unusable land. The houses of the clergy are located on church land and are their property; they are wooden.

The clergy do not receive a salary; their maintenance is modest.
