From the 17th to the 19th century, the village of Rozhdestveno was owned by various landowners, such as Romodanovsky, Urusov, Naryshkin, and Vsevolozhsky. There has long been a church in the village dedicated to the Nativity of Christ. In the patriarchal books from 1676, it is mentioned as "the church of the Nativity of Christ in the estate of the boyar Prince I.I. Romodanovsky in the village of Rozhdestveno," with reference to monetary collections.

In 1712, a new church in honor of the Nativity of Christ was built in Rozhdestveno, in the estate of the boyar F.S. Urusov, consecrated by the abbot Nikolai from the Volosovo Monastery. However, it burned down in 1732. In this regard, in 1735, Priest Vasily Fedorov appealed to the synodal treasury with a request to allow the construction of a new church on the site of the burned one. Archbishop Joakim instructed the construction, and in 1736, the church was restored and consecrated.

The modern stone church in honor of the Nativity of Christ was built in 1809 through the efforts of General S.A. Vsevolozhsky, and a stone bell tower was erected next to it. In 1841, landowner N.S. Vsevolozhsky added a warm church with an altar in honor of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos. In 1884, peasant Mikhail Zazubin arranged another altar in the warm church in honor of Archangel Michael.

Copies of the metric books since 1803 and confession lists since 1829 have been preserved intact. An inventory of church property compiled in 1852 is also kept in the church. The church owns a two-story stone house that houses the parish school. The land allotment includes 1.5 desyatinas of homestead land and 33 desyatinas of arable and haymaking land, for which there is a plan.

According to the clergy's staff, there is a priest and a psalmist who receive income from land, securities, and church services, totaling up to 500 rubles a year. The priest's house belongs to the church, while the psalmist has his own house on church land. The parish includes the village and the villages of Kraskovo and Shubino, totaling 154 households, with a population of 425 men and 466 women.
