The Nativity Church is located on the left bank of the Korojechny River, on an elevation. It has a warm chapel on the southern side, dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The building is entirely made of stone and was constructed in 1782 at the initiative of Prince Mikhail Mikhailovich Khovansky. The church has three altars: the Nativity of Christ, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and in honor of the holy and righteous Prince Alexander Nevsky. The third altar is not a separate chapel and does not have its own roof; it is located in the refectory part of the summer church. It was established in 1899 with funds from a parishioner, a peasant from the village of Lukyanova, A. A. Shein. The bell tower is connected to the church and is located above the porch. The parish is better known as the village of Masalskoye, rather than Rozhdestveno, which is on the Korojechny. A small chapel is located in the stone pillar of the fence at the northeast corner. The fence around the church is made of stone with iron grilles.

The church land covers 39 desyatins, and there is a house for the priest. The church capital in bonds amounts to 559 rubles. The parish has 1,034 men and 1,207 women. The village of Korostyleva is located 3 versts from the village, while the other villages are no more than one and a half versts away.

The parish has a zemstvo one-class school. The zemstvo hospital has 6 beds, with an apartment for the paramedic and a midwife, and a separate house for the doctor. There is also a state tea shop. All three buildings belong to the parish but are maintained at the expense of the zemstvo. The school, hospital, and doctor's house are located near the church, while the tea shop is situated a little further away. The clergy staff includes a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist. The parish capital in securities amounts to 2,349 rubles.
