In the archival documents of the Vologda Spiritual Consistory and the combined archive of the churches of the Vologda Diocese, in the clerical records of the Christ Nativity Luptyug Church of the Nikolsky District, there is information about the buildings related to the complex of the Church of the Nativity of Christ. For the year 1903, it is noted: "The warm church, made of stone, was built in 1894 and consecrated on December 12 of the same year. The foundation of the cold church was laid in 1890, and the exterior work was completed in 1902. The church began its existence in the parish in 1699 by the blessing of Archbishop Alexander of Veliky Ustyug and Totma, which is confirmed by the church foundation charter dated March 14, 1699."

In 1917: "The main warm church in the name of the Nativity of Christ was built together with the cold church and the bell tower, all buildings are made of stone and covered with iron. The walls of the cold church were plastered in 1914. In the winter church, there are two altars: the right in honor of the Nativity of Christ, the left in the name of Seraphim of Sarov the Miracle Worker."

Currently, in the winter church, the altar of the Nativity of Christ was consecrated by Bishop Nikodim Rusnak of Kostroma and Galich on December 23, 1962. The altar in honor of St. Seraphim of Sarov was consecrated by Archbishop Veniamin Tikhonitsky of Kirov and Sloboda on August 12, 1950. The summer church remains unfinished and lacks an altar.
