The village has two churches. The first, the Church of the Nativity of Christ, is a stone parish church intended for winter and summer services. It has three altars: the Nativity of Christ, Saint Archangel Michael, and Saint Prophet Elijah. It was built in 1841 with funds from the parishioners. The second, the Nikolskaya Church, is wooden, on a stone foundation, clad in planks and covered with iron. This is a cemetery church with one altar in the name of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, erected in 1902 thanks to a donation from honorary citizen Alexander Potapovich Bormosov. The church land comprises 107 desyatins and 1546 square fathoms, including 2046 square fathoms of homestead land, 20 desyatins of arable land, 11 desyatins of meadows, 1475 square fathoms of swamps, shrubs, and clearings, as well as 28 desyatins of firewood forest. There are houses for two priests and a deacon for the residence of the clergy. The church capital amounts to 1970 rubles. There are three chapels in the area: in the village of Gusino, an abolished wooden dilapidated church 6 versts away, in the village of Babinskoye, a wooden church 5 versts away, and in the village of Barkino, a wooden church 6 versts away. The parish has 1470 men and 1528 women living in 424 households. Some villages are located 10 versts from the church. The trading village of Ermakovo is situated by an unnamed stream and the Kongora River. The parish has four schools: one two-class school under the Ministry of Education, two single-class zemstvo schools, and one church literacy school. Since 1902, there has been a church-parish guardianship. The staff includes two priests, a deacon, and two psalmists. The clergy's salary is 950 rubles, and the parish capital is 1490 rubles.
