The Nizhny Novgorod State Archive has preserved a clerical ledger from 1790, which mentions the Davydovo Pokrovskaya Church. In the "Report of the Gorbatov District" from 1859, related to the village of Dalshee Davydovo, the Christ the Savior Church is noted. This church was built on November 9, 1813. The building was made of stone, with a bell tower of the same material. In 1937, the Davydovo Christ the Savior Church was officially closed. In the 1970s, the temple was destroyed, and a House of Culture was built in its place. In 2009, a Cross of Remembrance was erected at the site of the former church.
