Church of the Nativity of Christ in Boris-Gleb

In the village of Borisoglebskoye on the Sog River, there are two churches built and consecrated: the cold one in 1819 and the warm one in 1821, thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. Both buildings are made of stone, with the same bell tower and surrounded by a fence on three sides. In the cold church, the altar is in the name of the holy righteous princes Boris and Gleb, and in the warm one, in honor of the Nativity of Christ. The church owns 40.5 desyatinas of land and has a capital of 840 rubles in securities. There are church houses for the clergy, one of which is rented out for a zemstvo school. In the village and surrounding villages, there are 604 men and 693 women living. In the parish, five versts from the church, there is a literacy school, and in the village itself, a zemstvo school. According to the statute, the clergy should consist of a priest and a psalmist. The capital of the parish amounts to 3381 rubles and 85 kopecks in securities and in the book.
