It has been about 25 years since the last residents left Tuma. Now it is not easy to get here. The village site is now wild nature, overgrown with bushes and underbrush, which mainly interests duck hunters. The Tumka River is dammed, and ponds have been created on its tributaries. On the high bank of the Tumka River, the altar part of the Church of the Placement of the Robe of the Most Holy Theotokos in Vlacherna, built in 1815, has been preserved. Before the stone church appeared, there was a wooden church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, mentioned in the books of the patriarchal order in 1676.
