The village of Bobriki is located 60 versts from Tula and 20 versts from Epifani. The parish of the village is situated along the Don River and its tributary, the Bobrik River. The area is quite wooded, and the soil is black earth. Information about the origin of the parish and the name of the village has not been preserved. The parish includes the villages of Zadona, Dubovaya, Mikhailovka, Nikolskaya, Leshki, Petrovka, and Klin. The parish has 1903 men and 2076 women. The parish church, dedicated to the Uncreated Image of the Savior, is a stone building with a bell tower, two stories high, built in 1778, but it is unknown by whom. There is an altar in the name of the Archangel Michael. Over time, the church has undergone various repairs and renovations. The church has a capital of about two thousand rubles.

The clergy consists of two priests and two psalmists. The income of the clergy amounts to 320 rubles and 8 kopecks from the capital. The church owns 3 desyatinas of homestead land and 33 desyatinas of field and haymaking land. Since 1880, the village has had two almshouses opened by Count Bobrinsky: one for the blind and another for poor elderly people. Since 1881, a public school founded by Count Bobrinsky has also been in operation.
