The stone church with one dome and a bell tower, consecrated in honor of the Protection of the Holy Virgin and the holy apostles Peter and Paul, was built by the parishioners in 1790 on the site of a burned wooden church. Inside, there are two wooden crosses with the inscription stating that "this church was founded under the Most Pious Sovereign Empress Catherine Alexeyevna and under the Most Reverend Arsenius, Archbishop of Rostov and Yaroslavl, in 1790."
