Verigino, a village located in the Arzamas district. The "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" from 1904 mentions the altars of the stone church built in Verigino in 1821. The main altar of the cold church is dedicated to the Intercession of the Mother of God, while the side altar is dedicated to Archangel Michael. The Intercession Church is a monument of urban planning and architecture and is under state protection according to document No. 22.
