Uzhovo, a village located in the Pochinkovsky district. According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, the village's Intercession Church, dedicated to the Intercession of the Mother of God and dated 1895, was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site. However, according to the Administration for the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, this status was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
