The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in the village of Solenoe Zaimishche was built in 1906 and is currently an active Orthodox church in the Right Bank deanery of the Akhtubinsk diocese.

The village of Solenoe Zaimishche was founded in 1700. Historical data indicates that the first church here appeared in 1820-1821, when local residents had already settled, accumulated funds, and were ready to invest in the construction of a church. The history of this first building is unknown, as are the details of the construction of the modern Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin. The church is designed in a strict yet solemn classical style. The main volume of the building is adorned with a high lantern, on which a massive dome with a small cupola rises. The bell tower, consisting of two tiers, has elegant proportions and is topped with a high four-pitched roof with a smaller cupola. During the period of atheism, the church suffered greatly, especially the interior decoration: the wall and dome paintings did not survive, and the iconostasis was completely lost. In 1993, the church was recognized as a cultural heritage site.
