The village of Ryabino is located in the Pavlovsky district. According to data provided by Natalia Listvina, its name is associated with the abundant catch of fish in the Kishni River, on the banks of which the village is situated. According to local residents' memories, there were two churches in Ryabino: a wooden church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built in the late 17th century, and a stone church made of red brick, consecrated in 1911. The wooden church was destroyed in 1939, while the stone church was used as a warehouse during the Soviet era. Currently, it is a monument of urban planning and architecture, known as the Intercession Church, dating back to the early 20th century. According to information from a user on our site, restoration work on the church is underway.
