The Orthodox parish in the village of Repnoe was founded in 1904, and the stone church in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin was built from 1902 to 1904 with funds from parishioners and benefactors. In 1936, the church was closed by the authorities, and in 1938, the church building and the church house were dismantled for bricks for the needs of the collective farm 'Faithful Path.' The church utensils were burned, and the bells were used as water troughs for horses at the collective farm stable.

On October 14, 1996, on the feast of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, the church in the village was consecrated again. The stone church, distinguished by its simple architecture, was built in one year, and in 2006, a two-tier bell tower was added to it. All the villagers and local organizations actively participated in the construction of the church.
