The stone church in the village was built in 1896. With the advent of Soviet power, the temple was looted and closed. For a long time, the building was used as a grain storage facility. Until recently, the church was completely abandoned and was not listed in any registers. Now, a collection of aid for the church has been organized, as it needs major repairs. In the mid-90s, the central dome, roof, and bell tower dome were covered with galvanized iron. In 2011, four domes were installed on the ancient Intercession Church.
