In 1678, the village of Pokrovsk on Ozerki already existed and belonged to the Sinbirian Artemon Maximov Repyev. The village had 17 households and a population of 31 people. In the early 19th century, the owner was Porfiry Petrovich Mikulin, followed by his heirs, cornet Fyodor Porfirievich Mikulin and collegiate assessor Nadezhda Porfirievna Ruseneva.
The stone church in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with an altar in the name of the Holy Trinity, was built in 1814 by Porfiry Petrovich Mikulin. In 1893, it underwent major repairs and significant expansion. Alexander Vasilyevich Rusenev built a second wooden church at his estate, but in 1877 he transferred it to the village of Maloye Nagatkino in the Bolshaya Tsilninskaya volost.
