The brick church, adorned in classical style, was completed in 1827. It is a squat two-light square structure topped with a dome and five cupolas, connected by a refectory to a tall bell tower. The main church has a second altar dedicated to Elijah, while the refectory features an altar of Modest of Jerusalem. The church was closed in the second half of the 1930s, and the dome of the bell tower burned down in 1960. It currently stands empty.
