The order of the Department of Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD included the rural Intercession cemetery church in the list of historical and cultural heritage sites. The church dates back to 1828. However, order 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159, as reported by the State Heritage Protection Department of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. According to local historian Irina Naumova, the stone church in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin was built in Plotinsky in 1824.
