Peresekino, Novopokrovskoye, is a village in the Bolshie Boldino district. In accordance with the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural Intercession Church, the temple of the Intercession of the Mother of God, was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1833. However, according to data from the State Administration for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, order 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
