According to the salary books, the Novoshin parish was founded in 1840 when the church was built here. In the 1930s, the church was closed. The building was repurposed for economic needs. Later, it housed a village club and then an eight-year school. Currently, the territory of the church is home to the Novoshin Special Correctional School.
