In April 2014, on Easter, the first service was held at the Church of the Intercession-on-the-Kolpa. This church, which is a copy of the Church of the Intercession-on-the-Nerli, was built on the grounds of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery, located above the Kolpa River, not far from the village of Matveevka in the Selivanovsky District of the Vladimir Region. Matveevka is approximately 15 kilometers northwest of Krasnaya Gorbatka. The skete was founded here in the mid-1990s. Before the revolution, there was a noble estate on this site, and after 1917, a secondary school. According to the newspaper 'Selivanovsky Vestnik', the founders of the skete were Priest Dmitry Boltrukevich and Nun Olga.

In 1995, a wooden Intercession Church was built on a picturesque hill above the Kolpa dam, along with a chapel, cells, and other utility buildings. Pilgrims began to visit the skete from Vladimir and other regions. Currently, there are 5 nuns and several novices living in the skete. Services are conducted by priests who come from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.

The construction of a new brick Intercession Church, modeled after the famous Church of the Intercession-on-the-Nerli, began over 10 years ago, in 2001. In April 2014, the church was consecrated, and the first service was held there.
