In the early 17th century, a church already existed at this site. The patriarchal tax records from 1628 mention the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Lesser Brembola, which paid a tribute of two altyns and two denarii, as well as a tithe hryvnia. In 1703, another warm church was built near this church in honor of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker. In 1766, a new wooden church was erected in place of the two wooden churches, also consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker, with a bell tower above the refectory.

In 1842, the current stone temple was built on the site of the wooden church. It has two altars: in the cold part in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, and in the warm chapel in the name of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker. The temple is well supplied with utensils, vestments, holy icons, and liturgical books. All church documents have been preserved intact, including copies of the metric books since 1780 and confession lists since 1829.
