The Church of the Intercession is made of brick and has plastered facades. It is a temple in the style of late classicism with an unusual composition. The foundation consists of a square building with five blind domes. The central octagonal metal drum rises above the domed roof. The side square drums support the domed roofing, on which a spherical cupola with a cross is located. The longitudinal axis of the building is highlighted by a semicircular apse and a rectangular narthex, which are lower and narrower than the main volume, as well as a narrow porch. The southern and northern facades feature a high base with a ribbon rustication and a symmetrical three-part composition. In the center is a triple rectangular window with a false semicircular window above it. On the sides are large rectangular windows and square niches. The crowning cornice with shelves is complemented by two-tiered teeth. The rusticated base and cornice continue on the other facades. The smooth wall of the apse is pierced by three rectangular windows. The western facade is adorned with a portico featuring four Tuscan columns and a triangular pediment, which was later transformed into a narthex with plastered walls. The porch in front of the portico consists of two brick columns with an arch and wooden side walls. The gable roof from the west forms a triangular pediment supported by wooden columns.
Inside the temple, four massive pilasters with cut corners support the domed vault through sails. The barrel vaults above the side sections rest on springing arches connecting the pilasters to the walls. The apse is covered with a conch. In the narthex and porch, the wooden ceiling imitates a barrel vault. The church has preserved the original one-tier wooden carved iconostasis in the style of classicism, painted dark gray with gilded elements. The central part is designed as a triumphal arch, while the side parts have semicircular projections. The entablature is decorated with floral ornamentation. In the altar, there is a canopy with four twisted columns and volutes, with some carved drapery still preserved. The oil wall painting dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The dome depicts the Fatherland, while the sails feature the Evangelists. The vault of the southern compartment presents the composition 'Blessing of the Children', and in the northern compartment, 'The Meeting'. The springing arches and the upper parts of the pilasters are adorned with ornamentation featuring motifs of weaving, running waves, and acanthus leaves. The grisaille cornice is executed with rosettes and modillions.
