On May 31, 2014, on the day of the commemoration of the holy fathers of the seven Ecumenical Councils, a church was laid in the village of Lomovka in the Arzamas district of the Nizhny Novgorod region in honor of the Protection of the Holy Virgin. The laying ceremony was conducted by Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas. Currently, the church is in the final stages of finishing and landscaping. The first Divine Liturgy in the church was held on October 14, 2017, on the day of the Protection of the Holy Virgin.
