The village of Klyazminsky Gorodok is located on the Klyazma River, 12 versts from the district town of Kovrov and 80 versts from Vladimir. In the village, there is a stone church with a bell tower and a fence, built in 1803 on the site of a previous wooden church thanks to the efforts of the landowner Prince Peter Alexandrovich Volkonsky and the parishioners. The church has two altars: one in the cold part, dedicated to the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the other in the warm chapel, in the name of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.

Among the ancient sacred items in the church are the icon of the Uncreated Savior, the icon of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and an altar cross with relics of various saints. Church documents, including copies of metric books from 1803 and confession lists from 1829, are preserved. An inventory of church property was compiled in 1894. The church owns three chapels: one in the churchyard, another in the village, and the third in the field nearby.

The church staff includes a priest and a psalmist. Their maintenance is provided by a Synodal subsidy of 392 rubles, income from land of 30 rubles, and from services and sacramental corrections of 250 rubles, totaling 650 rubles per year. The clergy's houses are located on church land. The parish includes the village and the villages of Khoratino, Chentsy, Chutkino, Bliznino, Knyaginkino, Repniki, Babirikhа, and Golyshevo, located no more than 4 versts from the church. The parish has 149 households, 440 men, and 465 women. Since 1891, a church-parish school has been operating in the village, which has its own building.
