Grudtsino, a village in the Pavlovsky district. According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village's Intercession Church was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site. The church dates back to 1850. However, order 5-OD lost its validity on October 20, 2014, according to order No. 159, as reported by the State Office for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

According to Natalia Listvina, the wooden church in the village was built in 1793 but burned down in a fire in 1845. In 1850, a stone church was constructed in its place. In the 1930s, the church was desecrated. Since 2003, the villagers have begun its restoration. The icons of the Savior and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, which were hidden in the church of the village of Frolovskoye during the Soviet era, have returned to the church. Currently, services are held in the Grudtsino church.
