In 1991, the church was transferred to the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese. In 2004, restoration work began, and that same year, services resumed in the church.

Feast days:

October 14 is celebrated as the Protection of the Holy Virgin, September 19 is the day of Archangel Michael, and July 12 is the feast of Peter and Paul.
