The main attraction of Maloye Murashkino is the wooden church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, consecrated in 1876. It is the only functioning Old Believer church in the Nizhny Novgorod region, making it unique.

The complex of the Intercession Church in Bolshoye Murashkino has been preserved to this day and is recognized as a monument of urban planning and architecture. It includes the Old Believer church dedicated to the holy martyr Avvakum and the Nikolskaya Old Believer church, built between 1881 and 1885. These buildings were part of the ensemble of the Intercession Old Believer community and represent an interesting example of Byzantine style in Russian architecture of the second half of the 19th century. The church currently functions as the Old Believer Avvakum Church.
