The church was built in 1820 and was closed in 1939. Services resumed in 1991. The fence around the church is made of stone. Nearby, there is a cemetery, also surrounded by a stone fence, which has a stone chapel on its grounds. The church has three altars: in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, the Meeting of the Lord, and the holy apostles Peter and Paul.
