The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Alyoshkino was built in 1807 with funds from the parishioners. The church has two chapels: the Intercession of the Holy Virgin and Archangel Michael with other incorporeal forces. Previously, there were two wooden churches in Alyoshkino and Mikhalyevo, the Intercession and Michael churches, which were closed in 1790 due to dilapidation, and the current church was built in their place. This stone building has five domes and a bell tower. The parish of Alyoshkino included the villages of Churilovo, Selishche, Mikhalyevo, Fedorovskoye, Novoselka, and Vlaskovo. In 1881, a rural school opened in the village. In 1937, the parish was closed, and the church building was used as a warehouse.
