The church in the village of Alepino, dedicated to the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, has a very ancient history. In 1860, when the old wooden church in Alepino was destroyed, three antimins were found during the burning of the altar. The oldest of them was transferred to the Intercession Church of the village of Alepino during the reign of Prince Vasily Dmitrievich, son of Dmitry Donskoy. The other two antimins date back to the reigns of Ivan the Terrible and Boris Godunov.

The patriarchal books from 1656 mention the 'Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in the hamlet of Alipino,' where peasants paid a tribute of 17 altyns, collected by the elder Thomas. In 1679, 22 altyns and 4 dengi were paid for the church in the hamlet of Alepino. In 1746, the church in the estate of Peter and Ivan Samoylov in the village of Alepino was valued at 1 ruble and 8 kopecks.

The modern stone church in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Alepino was built in 1850 through the efforts of the parishioners. It has a stone bell tower and fence. The church has three altars: the main one in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, and two in the refectory, in honor of Saints Cosmas and Damian and John the Baptist. Among the liturgical books, an old-printed Gospel published during the patriarchate of Joseph stands out.

Copies of the metric books from 1803 and confession lists from 1829 have been preserved. An inventory of church property, compiled in 1878, is kept in the church. The church lands include half a tithe of homestead land, 30 tithes of arable land, and 1 tithe of meadow land. There is a plan and boundary book. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, who receive up to 400 rubles a year from the land, securities, and for sacramental services.

Until 1849, the parish included the village and three villages, but in that year, at the request of the landowner Prince Saltykov, His Grace Parthenius joined seven villages from the Cherkutinsky parish to Alepino. The parish has 175 households, 501 men, and 551 women. In 1881, a church-parish school opened in the village.
