The rural stone church with one dome and a bell tower was founded in 1807. It has two altars: one for Saint Peter, Metropolitan of Moscow, and the other for Saints Peter, Alexius, and Jonah of Moscow. Until 1838, the church remained unheated, but that year it was partially rebuilt to make it warm. During the reconstruction, the old bell tower was dismantled, and in 1849 a new one was built, which is connected to the church and has survived to this day. In 1864, a stone fence was erected around the church.

Before the stone church was built, there was a wooden one located slightly southeast of the current building. However, the exact date and authorship of its construction are unknown.

Among the locally venerated icons, the ancient icon of the Smolensk Mother of God stands out, although the time of its creation is unknown. It is adorned with a silver riza weighing 11.5 pounds. The church's sacristy does not contain particularly ancient items, old printed books, or manuscripts.

A procession is held on July 28 around the village and through the houses. It was established in memory of livestock deaths in 1819 and 1871.

The church has 36 desyatinas of land, and the parish consists of only one village.
