The Peter and Paul Church in the village of Petrovskoye, Shlyapino, was built of wood in 1903. The funds for its construction were collected by the synodal missionary, Archpriest Xenophon Kryuchkov. The church features a wooden bell tower and a fence. The cemetery is located 250 fathoms from the church and is also surrounded by a wooden fence. The temple has one altar and is dedicated to the holy apostles Peter and Paul. The church was closed in 1932 and is a monument of urban planning and architecture.
