On June 26, 2013, in the village of Redkino, Bor District of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Metropolitan Georgiy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas conducted the ceremony of laying the wooden church in honor of the holy apostles Peter and Paul. The service was attended by Mitred Archpriest Sergey Shalatonov, the dean of the Bor district of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese Archpriest Aleksey Parfenov, and other clergy of the deanery.
