The brick church was built in 1802. It is a two-light square with a five-domed completion, to which a spacious four-pillar two-light refectory is attached, expanded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as a four-tiered bell tower. The church has altars dedicated to the Introduction and Tikhon of Amathus. The church was closed no later than the end of the 1930s, and in 1992 it was returned to the faithful, after which restoration work began.
