Pyatnitskoye is a village located in the Semenovsky urban district, previously known as the Semenovsky region.

According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village's Pyatnitskaya church was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site. This site dates back to the early 20th century. However, according to the data from the Office of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Nizhny Novgorod region, order No. 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
