The temple of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon was built in 2001 at one of the busiest intersections in the city, opposite the railway station. The church houses relics, among which a particle of the relics of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon stands out. It also contains the relics of the Optina Elders, as well as the saints of Novgorod and Radonezh. In 2005, a Sunday school was opened on the church grounds.
