In a remote village of the Bogorodskoye parish, a brick church began construction in the early 20th century. This four-pillar single-domed temple is notable for its decor, which combines elements of eclecticism and neo-Russian style. The church was closed no later than the 1930s.

In January 2010, local residents decided to restore the church. They informed the archpriest Gennady in the city of Kirzhach, and approval was received to create a board of trustees. Preparatory activities for the reconstruction began. We appeal to everyone for help, whether in words or deeds, and thank you in advance for your assistance. By early July, trees around the church were cut down, and in May, a community cleanup was held on its grounds. On the Annunciation, April 7, the blessing of Bishop Evlogy was received. Funds were raised to begin work on clearing the church of collapsed walls and reinforcing its structures. An architect joined the project, and a work plan was developed.
