The church in honor of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon in Tambov was built thanks to the efforts of benefactor K.V. Boldyrev and with the support of the chief physician of the City Hospital named after Archbishop Luka, A.A. Baranov. The church was consecrated by Bishop Theodosy of Tambov and Michurinsk on August 9, 2010, on the feast day of the great martyr Panteleimon. The church is located on the territory of City Hospital No. 2 named after Archbishop Luka. Nearby, there is a monument to St. Luka Voyno-Yasenetsky, who, while serving in the Tambov diocese, made a significant contribution to the medical and spiritual life of the local community.

The church at the hospital named after St. Luka Voyno-Yasenetsky is a small cubic building with three-bladed facades and a large semicircular apse. The dome of the church is set on two drums that taper upwards. The laying of the building took place in 1998 with the participation of Patriarch Alexy II, and the consecration was performed by Archbishop Theodosy of Tambov on August 9, 2010.
