The stone church of Saint Paisius was built in 1896 by a peasant from the village of Kurovo, Dmitry Potapovich Shershin-Dmitriev. He also installed an iron fence around the cemetery with gates and wickets. Near the village, on the left bank of the Yelda River, there is a revered spring known to locals as Paisiev Klyuchik. According to legend, this spring was purified and arranged by Saint Paisius of Uglich, Pavel Gavrenev. Before the revolution, it was widely known among pilgrims who came here from various towns and villages.

Currently, the village has almost disappeared: there are no houses, the church is in ruins, and the second, wooden church has been completely destroyed. The cemetery with graves has been leveled, with only one grave remaining, that of the parents of Saint Paisius of Uglich, marked by a cross and a fence. The Myshkin People's Museum takes care of this site: it annually updates the cemetery fence, maintains the grave of the saint's parents, restored one of the walls of the church of Paisius, and partially repaired the roof. They also tidy up the spring of Paisius and the paths leading to it. A bathing area and a chapel have now been built at the holy spring.
