The stone church with a bell tower was built thanks to the efforts of Agrippina Petrovna Bednyakova, the wife of an actual state councilor. Next to the church was a watchman's lodge, and the clergy included a priest and a psalmist, for whom church houses were provided.

In the 1920s, during the Soviet regime, the church was closed, and the building was partially destroyed.

Currently, the church building has been returned to the Church, and restoration work is underway. The church is recognized as a monument of history and culture.

In 2007, work was carried out to cover the roof and central dome, and a cross was installed on the dome. In 2008, repairs continued. The rector is Priest Ioann Beshtyen.
